Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof
If you want to have a way to judge the legend from the truth
The real from the spoof you gotta think like a sleuth
If you wanna get extraordinary proof
I'd like to think we've risen to a new sophistication
Unlike our simple ancestors without modernization
But then I turn around and embrace the mysteries
Conflict in my thinking a 90's kind of alchemy
So it must be human nature to want the magic to be true
Like Big Foot, horoscopes, UFOs and the Loch Ness Monster too
It's just more fun to believe in the possibilities of aliens
Than a world so cold & predictable ruled by laws and equations
(but truly I know)

But remember things like faith in God
