It’s a constant push and pull of environment and economy

We gotta keep the money flowin’ but don’t mess up the harmony

And keep the oil flowin’ Should we worry about what we can’t see?

But why, oh why, when I’m one of the “enlightened ones”

Can’t I deny my wasteful ways?

I can see ahead of these unsustainable days

And what I know is I'll change when I have to

I'll only change when I have to

Use it once and onto the next thing It’s a throw away society

Cause and effect out of sight out of mind with no green responsibilities

And what’s a pain in my heart is no one is guiltier than me
